Question:

What do you think of the K2 Skyla?

I'm helping my friend choose a board. I taught her to snowboard and she really likes it now. She can link turns on blues. It's likely that if she rides a lot with me, when she improves, she'll begin trying some freestyle. I have found a good deal on a K2 Skyla. I think it's a great board for her, as it seems to be an all-mountain board for improving, that will still hold when she chooses to hit the park. I know there are several other boards that are possibilities, but this is the best deal right now. If anyone has ridden one or has heard anything about the Skyla and it's performance for improving and also maybe in the park please leave some answers! Anything you've heard or know would be great. Thanks!

  1. Skyla's make excellent begin er boards. They are rugged and will hold up.

  2. K2 Skyla. Good Times. My first snowboard. It rides like a dream, and although its way too much of a beginner board for me, I still like to ride it because of the way it floats. It rides well on the rails, boxes, etc, but only enough to learn, if she gets really into freestyle I would consider a new board then, but the skyla will help her pick up some more experience and will be able to ride the park. I used that board to ride the park.
