That is awful. Genetic mutations like these might cause a stir, but involve harming the animal in the long run. Obviously that piglet is not completely healthy or "normal" and probably has or will develop a number of other health problems. These might be very painful to it. It will die prematuraly either from not being able to suckle due to the unsusual mouth shape (although it says they are rearing it now), or from any other complications. I hope if that's the case they at least euthanize it humanely. But based on many cases where mutations like this occur, the babies almost never make it to adulthood.

And I cannot believe people are dumb enough to say "it's ugly" etc. It's a birth defect - not anyone's fault! It's still a living animal, just as deserving of life and respect. I certainly hope you do not say this about deformed people...
