  1. I lived there for a few weeks and the people were extremely pleasant and helpful

  2. Kiwis are great!  Been there a couple of times (the North Island), and currently work with a girl from Wanganui.  New Zealanders a friendly and warm; and not above taking the #### out of you (or themselves) when you've done something stupid.  And I especially love the New Zealand accent.

  3. no but it seems like a very beautiful country.

  4. I married one so we hop the ditch every few years.

New Zealand is a lovely country I have been to both north & South islands  and summer & winter to the north island.

Their lifestyle can be more relaxed than us Aussies and they have some differences that can be fun to negotiate :)

Still the fresh produce is good even if some of the things we consider staples are more expensive (other things are cheaper) Wines are nice and they love their food.

Like all countries there are good and bad people & points   and I love visiting but it is cheaper to live over here in Australia.

  5. I have lived there in the past, although I was not born there.  I think the people are really great.  Auckland is multi-cultural.  The rest of the North Island is a mix of Europeans and Maori.  The South Island is European.

There are many fewer people trying to cheat you in NZ as compared with Sydney, Australia.  But then NZ was a free settlement, not a convict colony.
