What do you think of the Tassimo coffee maker?

The Tassimo coffee maker is pretty good compared to most others...i have one at home and its really easy and the smell is great...it's like starbucks coffee...so i would definately reccomend it...x*x

I think it should get more mentions on the site. Most people on here don't buy coffee machines, they use the one (if any) that their parents have bought.

its wonderful, you can just pop in a coffee and go.  i also love that my coffee comes to my doorstep every month

We have a dolce gusto machine and its awsome,their lattes are definately the best also it makes a mean hot chocolate.

Cant say about the Tassimo machines,sorry.

I'm afraid I have no experience of the Tassimo, but I bought myself the Douwe Egberts Senseo about 2 months ago. I absolutely love it, it's so simple and the coffee is always consistently lovely.

Having looked at the Tassimo website, I think it looks just as easy to operate and just as delicious coffee as the senseo machine. So the decision may come down to price - of both the machine and the refills. That's my only disappointment with my machine - the refill packs are more expensive than I thought they'd be. Have a look in the supermarket before you buy to get an idea of the cost involved with the Tassemo system.

I've got one of those and i really don't know what i'd do without it, i think they are better than the other brands out there because it's not just a bog standard coffee machine as it makes all sorts of drinks.

It's pretty good for the money.  Not worth it if you only plan to make coffee (I prefer having a pot of coffee), but the cappucinos are really good. I have to admit though, that the starbucks coffee from the tassimo machine cannot be matched by a regular coffee maker.
