What do you think of the Versus schedule for the 08-09 season?

YET again 20 too many Rangers games. Do these clods think everyone is a Ranger's fan? At least there does seem to be a little better variety but come on WHY do they think everyone wants to see the *bleeping* Rangers.

i like the amount of games, but they need to choose better games, rather than games like the blues rangers, no rivalry, might not even have any importance so not as many people will tune in, and la should get one, they need it, and edmonton and calgary can do fine without it, except now i only get to watch very little flames games,

It looks like they're having more games this year, which is always a good thing.

For those curious, here are the most televised teams (Versus network only)

Boston - 8

Buffalo - 8

Minnesota - 8

NYR - 8

Pittsburgh - 8

Detroit - 7

Philadelphia - 7

Washington - 7

NJ - 6

Colorado - 5

St. Louis - 5

The only real surprise for me there is how often Boston is on TV.. but hey!  The more hockey the better.

I think that it's ridiculous that they will show the Wild the most times out of all the NHL teams (tied with Buffalo with 9). I would understand if the Wild were a fun team to watch, or if they had some superstars on their team, or if they were a serious contender. But they play a boring defensive style, they have only one superstar who is usually injured (Gaborik), and they are not really considered the favorites to win anything this season. I don't know why they're going to show them so much, and I don't like it. The Wild aren't exactly the poster boys of the NHL, no need to show them nine times.

Other than that, it seems about right to me. I still wish I had center ice though...

I really wish the Penguins wouldnt be on Vs at all. Not because i hate them but because i cannot stand the broadcast.
