Does it hold a child's car seat good?

Are the back passengers comfortable in the back?

Does it drive smooth?

Does it have enough power to merge onto the freeway?

Is the MPG good?

  1. I would rate it a 1.  Volkswagens are terrible.  Their service is terrible.  We have a 2004 New Beetle that has had the following problems.  Window lowered while no was in vehicle.  Airbag light on.  Trunk lid did not open when you hit the trunk release button (not fixed after several trips to the dealer and they even charged us because "they couldn't find the problem")  Now, it's stuck.  Lurching transmission.  (not fixed after several trips to the dealer and they even charged us because "they couldn't find the problem").  Rear seat power socket popped out.  "Speakers" drained battery.

    As answers to your questions...

If you have children and are concerned for their safety don't buy an SUV.  They flip over far more often and are more dangerous to others, including your own children who may be riding bikes near your home one day...  Their greater mass means they are harder to stop and hit harder then other vehicles, more likely to cause death or serious physical injury to your loved ones and those of others.

Almost every car made in the US has enough power to merge onto the freeway.  It's really not a legitimate concern, unless you think you shouldn't wait for an appropriate opening in traffic to enter.

MPG good?  A Prius which has a comfortable back seat and good places to seat children  and drives very smoothly can get up to 45-50 MPG.  If getting 25MPG is what you think of as good, we know why the United States has such a problem with energy.

Why do you think you need an SUV?  How many times have you gone off the road in your life?  How often does it snow?  Do you really think that 4wd helps you stop faster in the snow?  Because that's what's important...

  2. i would give it a 15. yeah, it's that amazing. my mom is leasing one right now. it is so hard to get me out of that thing. it's a 6 speed automatic and it shifts and drives so well. it gets around 25 mpg when i drive. yes, i use that computer thing. the back is huge and comfortable. i love manual vehicles but this thing, i had a hard time believing that it's an automatic. this baby is GREAT on the highway. if you have the means to get one, do it. i love this car. now i want to go for a drive. lol. it has this thing called ESP which is great for handling. you can feel the difference from other SUVs without it. it literally grips the road.
