What do you think of the Weimaraner Breed for a dog?

I have a Weim and she is the love of my life and I wanted to know what others thought of this breed, are they to active for you?

I have a 3 yr old male who (other than my husband) is my best friend, he is dosile..he has a BIG yard to run in so when I bring him inside he is very layed back...as for the person that says they are aggressive...my male...would never hurt anybody unless he felt like I was in danger,..they are sometimes shy *but they can very quickly pick out the bad people...not jumping down that persons throat....

When he is inside he practically sits on my lap *wants to be an 75 lb lap dog* its kind of funny

I think they are absolutely adorable and very intelligent. Easily trainable. I also think they are a very beautiful and kind breed. As far as being too active, I have not noticed this but the weimaraners I have "known" were walked at least once every day, which really helps with their activity level.

i dont like them that much.

and dont thumbs down me for my own opinion.

way too aggressive.

10 people i know have Weimeraners.

all have been thoroughly socialized, spayed, neutered, obedience trained, and all are show dogs.

but everytime someone walks in their backyard i saw, they attack them.

i just dont like weims. i dont like their attitude, their looks, and i dont like any of their personalities.

It always depends on their personality. I've had hyper ones, I've had laidback ones. They're so awesome, great for jogging or one of mine liked flyball! They're a terrific breed in my opinion!
