i know nothing about this series, and what sucks is I can't find it in dub, but it is so expensive to buy. Is it good? tell me at otacon07

Im glad that I was able to answer this question. N.G.Evangelion is my favorite anime. I apologize if I got some things wrong because the last time I saw it was back in the mid 90s.

1) My favorite character is Rei. Its not that shes cute or anything. The reason she is my favorite is because she is just well unique (as I describe it). I thought that it was cool for the soul of Lilith (2nd Angel) to be placed inside of a human body. Furthermore, I thought that it was cool that Rei actually is artificially created and can have her soul transferred from body to body (or vessel as she calls it). That way, she can be "resurrected" when she is killed.

2) My favorite part of the anime was pretty much the fighting. Its pretty cool to watch moden weapons, N2 explosives, futuristic weapons, and the Evangelions fight against the angels.

My least favorite part was where the 5th child kind of acted "strange" (I dont want to describe it any further....) and was willingly killed by Shinji though Shinji resisted to.

3) NO, I did not like the ending to the series (ep. 25/26) because of all the confusing talking going on. As for the true ending, I was only able to see half of it (up until Shinji Screams). Well, I liked "The End of Evangelion" mainly because of the fighting. Though, it sucked that humans were fighting against eachother, geofront (and Tokyo-3) got destroyed, and Nerv personnel died :(.  

Well the only other thing that I want to say is that "Evangelion Rocks!" and "I look forward to watching 'The Rebuild of Evangelion' Which comes out in 2009".

i loved that anime it was really good but it had its sad parts to. my favorite character was rei. but i have to say the thing i didn't like was Asuka she was just so annoying, also the part were his dad forced his son to kill his best friend it was really sad and made me cry because i flt his pain. but if it didn't have the sad parts or the annoying people it wouldn't be the same anime so i loved it all even the last two episodes but those last episodes made my dads head hurt and he got mad.  but the ending made me think about life and our outlook on things and who i really am so i liked that part. so all in all i love the whole anime.
