i've started a small new biz designing (custom) sleep masks. what do you think of the name..... "La La Land".

It depends on your target market.  "La La Land" sounds cute, but not professional.  Maybe able to attract younger people.  

Actually, the first thing that came to my mind was drug abuse.

I think it's cute, but don't forget to check the trademark/copyright before you move forward with it.
