What do you think of the car fiat punto. ?

i was thinking of buying an 03 fiat punto but alot of people are saying there not a good car.

Fiat is known as Fix It Again Tony, so what do you think. My daughter has one but is always on the phone, can I use your car dad mine is knackered again

Unreliable rubbish, only saving grace is they look fairly modern.  there are far far better ways of spending your hard earned cash!

As others have said, one of the few modernish cars that is a pain to live with.

I know they are common but you can not go wrong with a Ford fiesta or Ka.

Electric power steering always failing, other electrical gremlins with engine management lights etc....Shoody build quality.

Buy Japanese .

ive got a 2000 punto that ive had for a few years now and there are lots of issues with the power steering because it is electric. If it is cold outside the power steering fails regularly, and some difficult times e.g. when going around a corner. It can be hair raising at times. Its not just my car, its a punto fault, i researched it after it happened a few times and after spending a few quid at the local fiat garage and they suggested replacing the whole unit at 700+ even though its a known punto fault. Apart from that i love it to death and i would have another one in a minute, its a nippy wee car that runs like a dream. I hate the newer shape though, they lost all the s**y angles off the back lights. Oh and the elx version is much much cuter lol.

EEWWW... YUK IT LOOKS LIKE AN ANIMAL!

Seriously, they are nice to drive but they are very slow and the view is so bad in them. Also it's a fiat.

Get a Ford Fiesta or a VW Polo.
