  1. Love USA! cool fashions!

  2. Thank you for the links!

SPAIN... not crazy about the outfit, but I guess you could put Rafa in a sack and he would still look amazing.  You're right, he does look very happy!  I've never seen such a big smile on his face!

SWITZERLAND... the outfit's a little too... "beachy"?  But, again, you could put Roger in a sack, and he would still look classy.

CHILE... not loving the stiff-looking outfits on the other athletes in the background, but Fernando Gonzales looks absolutely charming in that get-up!

Kudos to these tennis guys who agreed to wear these outfits (which are obviously not their style!), in the spirit of patriotism.  :)

It's so nice to see these players in this type of environment!  They just look so relaxed, like they're really enjoying themselves.  :)  It's also nice to see them mingle with other athletes.

  3. USA looks amazing!!  Ralph Lauren did an excellent job...

  4. capri pants are nadal's signature outfit.  doesnt look right when its on federer.  i know that they are gonna switch ranking places but they dont have to switch clothing styles!

  5. thanks for the link with Rafa on it.. couldnt pick him out during the tv coverage!

loved the US contingent's outfits!!! classy!!! RL rocks...

hated the orange ties on the dutch...tacky much?

the obi (sash) on the french looked sorta cute but a tad overdone donchathink?

love r.fed but capris? a little too rafa! LOL

btw, i disagree with the comment on the traditional clothing as mentioned above... it shows patriotism, duh!

  6. The best were the Poles--crisp and elegant, especially the women's red dresses that looked polished and feminine.

The worst were the Hungarian women's outfits--they looked as if splattered with blood. I also did not care for the many ethnic outfits, the grey suits with white piping and orange ties (Netherlands), and for piping on suits in general. Women in pants looked unimpressive. And capri pants and shorts on women are just bad for the occasion. So were the many varieties of hats--what's the point? The US delegation looked boring--men and women alike. And the French could learn from the Polish and not overdo their glamour--those red sashes on women were an overkill, not flattering at all. Oh, the Italians were fine too, along with Finland and Norway, I thought. But Poles take the fashion cake, IMO.

  7. I think they look ok.

  8. I think USA look so classic.  I think Federer would have loved to wear that outfit.  It is so him.

Switzerland's outfits are cute and all but I would have prefer them in something like the U.S. but Federer still looks cute.

Don't like Spain's outfits.  The jackets look to big and what's with that hat that Nadal is carrying.

Chileans: Fernando does look pretty cute and happy in his outfit.
