  1. Terrible - The original group of countries have not yet managed to make it work !!

God help us if Turkey get in - the watch the fireworks !

  2. It is reasonable that those countries which share the same values with respect to law, freedom of speech, non-theocratic and democratic government should work together to produce a strong Europe. All for it.

  3. EU is good because it is uniting the European countries to have a common economic bloc which is also benefitting the international community.

  4. totally out of control. and i think brown and co know it. they just don't know how to get out of the mess they have created. and I'm sure many other European countries are in the same boat.

  5. EU Superstate, we fought this one before in World War 2, looks like the leftie fascists have this one won though.

Sadly there's nothing we can do about it though, hopefully it'll end up like the old USSR and crumble under it's own greed, corruption, beaurocracy and lies.

  6. it sucks! i hate it , i think joining the EU for Poland at least was a BIG mistake!

its an unnecessary change. Things were fine as they were. Communism was abolished and people were doing way better.

But people are naturally greedy and want more and better.

  7. Just more EU Empire building. 1000 years and they haven't got it right yet.

  8. I THINK it'll continue taking new markets, like latin america

    john

  9. To Eu should enter Croatia and it will be enough.

  10. i think its great for poorer countries in which is will raise the economy but bad for us or other richer countries as it will lower our £

other than that its fair game - equalisation.

  11. which one?  the one that happened last year, 2 years ago or the proposed expansion in the future?

  12. It wasn't the arrangement contemplated originally by the small group of six countries, later augmented to ten. Ten was a manageable size which brought mutual benefit to the countries participating.  As they all had a similar economic and cultural basis, the regulations and directives made sense, together with the free movement of workers to seek employment. Now that the EU has been expanded to double that size, we do not all get together harmoniously and the benefits all seem to flow in one direction, to the advantage of those with perhaps least to offer. Moreover, we have lost our sovereignty for ever and are ruled by the decisions of European judges.  I think that it is a disaster. If I were a Bulgarian or a Pole or a Roumanian I would no doubt think that it was wonderful.

  13. I think it is a bad thing.  Ok, it allows greater freedom of movement, but it is this freedom that let the 9/11 hijackers get closer to the US with not problems of immigration/border checkpoints.  Also, the EU or EEC was thought up by some guy called Herman Goering in the 1940's......any ideas?

  14. Scary, very scary.  It's a closer move to one world government.
