i honestly believe that you dont do things because of what you like you do things to try to fit in and grand theft auto is not a excuse to do the game in real life to say oh i did this because i played the videogame

  1. i think it's pathetic that they do something stupid, and then try to blame it on a video game. those kids need help. i mean, is society so bad these days that you cant even go through a supermarket parking lot without getting beaten up and mugged (because thats what those kids did). these streets could never be safe until all creeps like those kids are locked up for good.

  2. It depends when you start.  My friend has GTA and was playing it everyday for weeks.  His 3 year old son was watching while he played this game.  Last week he was throwing rocks at cars saying "look daddy, I throw grenades"  and "Daddy I shoot cop".  What will he be like in 15 years?  It makes a difference, some are smarter than others.  To say I didn't so no one will is ignorant.

Reason being that you cannot say that you have lived through everyone elses experiences.  Games like these are contributing factors into the decisions that children make as adults.  To say that it's not a factor just means that you have other factors that have outweighed that.  Some other though might not have those factors to stop them from acting in such a manner.  I do not say that these games make people do things but they do help to shape how these people think about the real world.  With enough negative factors acting upon them with out a balance of good.  Chances are they will act with the same negativity.

I am not saying that things like these should be censored from us or arguing the point that since some cannot act with responsibility, then no one should be allowed to.  Because then i would be advocating stupid policies (that don't work) about alcohol and drugs.  People who drive cars are a good example.  Some people are responsible some aren't.  Should no one then be able to drive?  If we thought like that then no one would ever be able to do anything.  I am saying that parents need to take responsibility and teach their kids morals properly.  TV is working against them to help raise criminals.  Stop letting your kid learn about life through a tv and the world would be a (slightly) better place.  again not saying TV should be illegal just taken in moderation with some responsibility.

  3. It's B.S. but their lawyers no it's a good excuse in America's society today.  It seems like there is no such thing as personal responsibility anymore and all wrong doing is caused by either media, environment, or psychological problems.  Everybody is subjected to the same media and everybody has suffered some hardship and are fine.  Like the other comments...countless number of people have plaed this and haven't had the thought of going on a killing spree so it's ridiculous to even humor this defense.  The defense that a game/media led you to commit a killing spree should be compared to the Son of Sam saying his dog told him to...if they truely do believe the game caused this then they are obviously unfit and unable to function in society

  4. Never played it but it's gonna be interesting on the defence side.

    My Best

  5. I've played it and never done anything 4 real

  6. I've played the game and never even thought of doing anything in it.
