  1. These look good. You will have to be ready to read and write a lot. The bio course will involve a lab requirement, which will take time out of your week.

If you find yourself feeling overwhelmed, you may want to drop or change one of these to a less academically demanding course. But, don't just drop the units. Stay in the 12 unit range in CC so that when you get to your 4-year school, you're ready for the intensity of the quarter system. It's much more fast paced and has a heavier workload that CCs.

  2. Community college?   Do people actually get degrees there?           I went to N.Y.U.    a real college.

  3. They're all liberal art classes except for biology. That means a lot of textbook reading and writing papers. Prepare to draft outlines for the speech class, you'll have to turn them in when you give speeches.

  4. Check out rate my professors and type in your school to see how other students rate the teachers you're taking! BTW some of those English teachers can be EVIL!!!!!!!

  5. It looks like you are taking the basic classes to get your requirements out of the way, and that is a good thing. All but fundamental speech are requirements but it is a good class to have if you are going to do anything that involves talking to people. Good choices.
