What do you think of the girl name Gisela?....?

I would like to know what you think of the name Gisela for a girl, it's a variant of Giselle, but a bit less used. Before making this my daughter's oficial name, I would appreciate your honest opinions, please mention adjectives that come to mind when you see or hear this name, what kind of girl/woman do you picture when you hear Gisela? do you love,like or dislike this name? etc!

I don't like it very much.

It sounds stuffy and old-fashioned to me.

Also, be aware that if you pronounce it jih-ZELL-ah (opposed to the French jhee-ZELL-ah), I guarantee you that some boy is going to connect it with "j izz", probably in middle school. He will think he's amazingly clever and spread it around, and your daughter will hate it.

I think it's beautiful, it reminds me of a quiet, confident Spanish woman or a friendly woman from the Dominican Republic or even Brazil? It's a great variant!

Thats my grandmothers name, i always thought that name was unique and never met another gisela besides my gma. Im dominican and we pronounce it as [He-sell-uh] I love it, its different. But the way its said in english is pretty too. ;]

Giselas are middle-aged German housewives. Out of style name, not in a good way either.
