What do you think of the girl that work at places like Hooters?

Like what is your first impression when you see them, do you automatically think that they are s****s because they work at a place like that?

I don't think they're s****s at all. They're waitresses at a theme restaurant.  But i think it's dumb to be ashamed of it, and try to validate it with the "money" aspect. If you wear a silly outfit at work, deal with it and laugh it off, don't try and act like the outfit is the reason you make money and you have no other choice.

Trust me, attractive waitresses at hooters that are good at their job don't make any more than attractive waitresses at any other popular sports bars that are good at their job. Cute waitresses at popular sports bars in general make a lot of money, especially during games. I would usually make $200-$300 on a game night and more on a weekend. A few times I made over $500, but those aren't extremely typical. And I didn't work at hooters. It was just a locally owned bar with lots of seating and lots of TVs. You don't have to wear an outfit to get tips. At that bar, at first we wore a tank top and jeans. We made good money. Then they changed the uniform to a s**y referee outfit with a short skirt and knee high socks. I made the same amount of money. So did everyone else. If you're uncomfortable at all with the outfit, which it seems like you are since you're going on Yahoo! Answers asking strangers if they think you are S****y, then go to another popular sports bar and be a good server. You'll make money either way.

I went and took my 16 year old son and my 2 year old grandson. I think it's a fun place. Forever girls serving drinks have usually worn small uniforms. Did it myself. The girls that were working at the hooters we were at were very nice and didn't come off as s****s at all. I say go for it. If you can wear that outfit good for you. And I'm sure they make very good tips. Good luck!!

No of course not. Every one should be able to express their sexuality, and putting on cute outfits for work is just one way to do it. Judging a person just by the way they look is so naive. Also, that job pays better then most normal waitress jobs, money is money, regardless of how you make it.

Actually, the younger ones I figure are putting their way through college and it is better to work somewhere like Hooters where you are wearing clothes than start your own triple X website or doing other things for money.

I think that some of the guys that frequent these places a lot tend to be a little sleazy but as long as everyone is happy who cares.

Mmm, how would you feel if Hooters was staffed by young, hot, male servers?  Would you call them s***s too?

Actually, the one where I usually go.. most of the employees are young girls in college... very nice girls... Hooters is not a strip joint... You are fully clothed, albeit in a tight outfit, but it's not like you are top less...

Besides... you need to learn that what YOU think about YOU is FAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRR more important than what WEEEEEE think about you.

I think they are waitresses. It's a job. I don't care for the shiny nude stockings they have to wear. They make their legs look like sausages or plastic like a Barbie Doll.

Some mite be there for other reasons but I would say that 99% are there for the money. Whether is to pay bills, support their families or pay for schol. Heck it may just be pocket change for some a chance to get out of the house for a few hours a week. Never would've thought to call them s****s, just doing their job. May not be the best but its honest work.

I've worked with a few girls in the medical field that worked at hooters while they were in school. I don't think it's S****y they are just trying to make some cash and atleast there maybe they can get some tips. I mean if they are willing to put up with the grosse men that go to those places just to eat hotwings and oogle at women then power to them.

i think they may be a little more on the cheap side most of the time, just by first impression of view. but i hate judging people based on jobs, so i am not going to consider them s****s right off the bat. they can be there for several reasons.

I think they are ladies trying to make a living. Its not their fault that they are cute and attractive and can get a job that requires such looks. Plus, Hooter girls are fully dressed with t-shirt, shorts, stockings and sometime leg warmers. Whats s***k about that?

They are just another human trying to make a living.  Working at a difficult job trying to make ends meet.  Low wages.  Many are students or single parents.

I don't think anything.  I mean if I go there to eat...I'm assuming someone has to work there to serve the meals.  Just like any other human, trying to make a buck.  I know a lot of men and woman, that has worked at Hooters and I think all of them are great people.

Girls that make good money (tips are great!) and put up with a lot of c**p. Thats all i think of when i go in.

The food there really does suck though...
