  1. I expect that this investigation will result in a few people losing their jobs. I don't think it is necessary because our results weren't surprising at all. It was expected.  Our athletes don't get the same training or attention or support as the athletes in other countries.  In these countries, the athletes are treated as the country's stars who will shine and allow their countries' flags to fly high in the sky with pride. They are the ambassadors who will let their countrie's names stand out among the others.  We don't give our athletes enough and so they don't give us anything.  Our loss is  a shame, but an expected one.  Words alone don't make an athlete, but hard work and support (financial & moral) make the best.

  2. The value of success is down-graded in Egypt.

The notion of positioning, learning your edge, capitalize on it and working hard to get the results and then exert more to maintain it or to climb to another height is not included in our cultural values anymore.

So this is just a paper work to ought to get done.

  3. Although I did not follow the Olympics (actually I have not watched the TV since 2 months) , but I can imagine what happened,Moonrise, It is very simple , Egyptians do not give a sh*t to anything including their careers, They just like to smoke Shisha all night, eat greasy food, starring  to each other  and try to find /hear what others bought or talking about. ( you can add that men like to think they are heart breaking and waw , while their hanging  bellies are 1/2 m in front of their bodies)..what investigation !! did they reach why this fiery carrying  2000 Egyptian drawn..did they check why. who killed this Lebanese actress.only to know whether our big guys are punch of criminals or not....

Sometimes you have to hide your face and  not to see , when it is ugly and hurts /or when you can not do anything about it...so No I do not expect anything than knowing (al khabah) from this investigation, It is not necessary, and why? I mentioned above ,,Our Youth is not looking for bettering their lives now , they are waiting for the better life when they die,,(no motivation, just pure frustration)

Anyway , to be an athlete, or healthy (just healthy ) you need to spend lots of money, Even dieting , and vegetarian food would cost more money than the c**p we eat,,what do you thingk??, a so called athlete will sacrifice his money to be healthier, or help his family to survive? what do you expect, the government will spend the funds on the so called athletes, or pay the cost to guard a deputy minister with 3 jeep cars carrying 6 body guards in each,,, come one... be logic,,, we are poor and we spend the few money we have either to help our families or protect  papa the minister  from a danger not there (actually if they are in the streets alone no one will recognize them,,,lol  lol

    ---------

before anyone says that other poor countries had  better results, I would like to explain, that people there think to get rid of their poverty, they take the chance and prove themselves in such an event,

-A Nation  with a short breath,

The Egyptians do  think differently  ,  A lot  prefer to sit in a coffee shops , than trying to better their lives,, call that our nature, our culture, or our frustration,, ,, in my opinion , we are just  lazy ...like  whining , than spending  some  efforts to better ourselves,,

There is also a very well known reason in Psychology, when people are  acute depressed, they start a self destruction reaction, (ask me ,,lol) ,,lets imagine that everything is fine in Egypt,, only the frighten crowd and the sound, air, water, Social , Cultural and Manner  pollution -would turn any  person  to be depressed,

We lost our ID long time ago , to the Russians , the Americans , the Arabs (what used to annoy  me , that I used to hear some talking in English in Egypt instead of Arabic Egyptian, I though it is just an inferiority complex and looking up the west, The disaster now I hear some  Egyptians talking in Kuwaiti , or Saudi accent, and proud to do that ,I wanted just to throw up ,.and {{ wallah hatha marah mesh 7elow...   lol}}  .. we are a depressed  (and depressing )nation ,therefore  we are self destructive one..

  4. i dont think they should even do it. why do they have to blame someone, why cant it be just that the players didnt play well?!!

  5. it just aims to coop with public frustration.

  6. the responsible will be the athletes themselves, because it is not logic the ministers will be responsible for any failure in egypt

  7. yes they just want to blam some one as usual

they'll say" our athletics would have won 10 gold medals but because of  so & so reason  they couldn't"

we always like to find any other reason than the real one to hang our failuer on it.

people back in Egypt are depressed & have no motivation of doing any thing
