What do you think of the name 'Ross'?

Question

My brother's name is Ross, and we can never find anything in stores with his name on it. We'll find Russ but not Ross.

What do you think of the name Ross?

Is Ross such an uncommon name that they can't switch the U to an O? I never thought it was uncommon or anything.

& nooo its not uncommon!! Thats soo weird you cannot find anything with the name on it.

I actually know quite a few Ross's. It reminds me of a champion hog wrestler. Probably because I am from the country, and Ross is a popular name here.

Maybe you're just shopping in urban areas. Trying finding a Ross keychain in a rural community general store...it'll be next to Wyatt and Earl ;)

It's not a bad name. I would think it'd be more common than Russ.

besides the show friends my son played baseball with a kid named Ross and my youngest daughter worked for a lawyer in Michigan named Ross.so its not that uncommon really.i never knew anyone named Russ. Russell yes but not Russ.and i know a couple of Rusty's one is a woman!

I think its a Scotish name my nephew is Ross and we are Welsh not Scotish but I'm sure its a Scotish name

I like the name - it reminds me of Ross from Friends.

I like it and I have known some Rosses so it isn't too uncommon.
