It means infinite in Sanskrit. The Am is like in "America" (um-ith)

  2. It sounds like you're trying to say the word "Amiss" with a lisp. That's the first thing that popped into mind. :)

  3. Okay. no. because although the pronunciation is kind of cool, the spelling looks bad. So whenever he has a sub in school, he will read out "ah-mith?" and it will sound a LOT like he's saying "amish" with a lisp. Don't subject your child to that.
