I like it. When I was younger, I had a neighbor whose name was Angus. Really masculine, smart guy. Definitely somebody that most kids could look up too. So I guess, I'd have to say I'm a bit biased when I say I like the name. But even so, Angus is a great name.

Sounds like "a**s" I can't get past that, I don't even find "angus" burgers on restaurant menus appetizing just because of how the word sounds.  And then "black angus" is even worse, only because the more descriptive it is, the more I think it sounds like a person's a**s.  I'm glad I got that off my chest, it's been bothering me.
