  1. If your surname begins with the letter S, I'd advise against it.

  2. I don't like Astrid, but Soleil is nice.

  3. I don't like it. But that's just my opinion.

  4. uh. hate it. sorry.

  5. I Love Astrid

I am not as fond of Soleil....I like it, but don't love it.

    Definitely stick with Astrid!!!

    = )

  6. Astrid is fine but Soleil just reminds me of Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas.

  7. I hate it. Sorry.

  8. I think there is a HUGE amount of potential for it being made fun of.

  9. It's kind of out there. It'd be nice if the names were separate. Too spacey for me.

  10. It is nice, not too common

  11. i would put it in the same category with Suzuki Dollop

  12. yes i agree, thats a name that people would make fun of. to me, that sounds too science-fictiony

  13. Oooooh, it's super cute, creative, and fits together well!!

  14. I really like Astrid ~ it's a very pretty name :)

The whole name sounds nice together, but is there a different spelling for Soleil? Something that is more phonetic so she doesn't have to correct people on the spelling and/or pronounciation. It may get tiring after awhile. Maybe "Soleigh" "Solay" The way you have it spelled, it looks very nice ~ but it may be irritating to live with.

  15. it sounds "out of this world"

it reminds me of "asteroid" and then "solar"

so it's kind of like the galaxy and space etc...

  16. I love Soleil. My step sister is actually named Soleil, but im not so in love w/ astrid, honestly i hate the name....srry :(

I would rather have Soleil as a first name.

    suggestions:

    Soleil Faith

    Soleil Marie

    Soleil Michelle

    Soleil Chantal

    Soleil Claire

    Soleil Charisse

    Soleil Giselle

    Soleil Moon

    Soleil Jolie

    Soleil Lucille

    Soleil Renee

    Soleil Raine

srry all the names are french, they're the only names I could think of. :)

    Hope this Helps. :)

  17. I love both, but not together.  They're a little too much like that (not to mention I'd always avoid AS initials in case she happens to ever want to go by an S surname in the future lol).  But separately, paired with more traditional middle names, I really love them.  Astrid Elizabeth?  Elizabeth Soleil?  Something like that.
