Let me tell you something, it does not matter what anyone else thinks at all!  If you and the baby's father like the name, does it really matter? When I was pregnant with my first son, everybody gave me c**p that is was "too uncommon or old fashioned" but you know what, my husband and I LOVED the name, and decided to name him

SABASTIAN anyway. My logic is tell anyone who is giving you grief what we did. simply " it's our child if we want to name it s#*$ head we will and you will like it". My opinion of the name is that it is cute, but it shouldn't matter. She is not my child. If it is the name you truly love, then use it.

I like it.  I am thinking of naming my little girl Bella Rose.  Bella was my nickname in college as it is related to my last name, I often got comments on how beautiful my name was as many thought it was my real first name.  I am disappointed that it is as popular as it is though and may look for something more unique, as my husband and I like somewhat unique names, we've been looking at some of the names that start with something else and end in Bella, so we will see what we come up with.

I love it, but I think Arabella or Isabella would be cool and not as popularly used, and Bella could be the nickname. I personally love the name Bella, but it's soooo overused lately.
