  1. It would make a good nickname.

People will probably think that she's not using her real name.  Try and imagine a lawyer or a doctor, or someone else in a position of authority with the name Bunny.  It doesn't really work, does it?

On the other hand, she's your baby, and you can name her what you want.

  2. I think of Playboy and that show "The Girls Next Door" on E!.  Awful name to bestow upon a child.

  3. im not sure about  it i know identical twins , one is called 'bunny-love' and the other is called 'candy-darling' they HATE there names and are known as BL and CD because of it whenever some one says its cute they say , 'well how would you feel if you were called that all the time'  maybe as a middle name it would be better

  4. Hmm.  Would you go to a doctor named Bunny?  Would you hire a Lawyer named Bunny?

It's childish.  You could use it as a pet name for a baby or even a toddler- but give a child a chance.  Naming a kid Bunny certainly isn't going to help her in life.

  5. A bunny is an animal, not a name.

People will also likely associate it with Playboy Bunnies.

  6. Bunny Rabbit

    great name

  7. it's your choice

    personally i wouldn't though

  8. When I was a little girl, my mom called me Bunny as a nickname. I think it's adorable-- as a nickname.

My real name is Jane, which is far more sensible as an adult person.

Why not give her a name like Isabelle or Bethany or Rebecca and call her Bunny for short?

  9. I thought it was cute until i read some ones answer when she is an adult it wont be to classy

  10. for a nickname sure....for a real name? no way. She'd be teased badly.

  11. For a pet - yes

    For a baby - no

It would make a really cute nickname though! Although I do admire people who name their children away from the 'norm' I do think Bunny is a little on the extreme side. Kids can be really cruel at school, and do you want your child to come home crying because children are making fun of her name? I do applaud you in trying to be different, but I think this may be a little TOO different!

Maybe Bonny? But again this reminds me of a horse I used to ride when I was younger!

  12. Awesome, a stripper baby.

  13. Not one of my choices... sorry.

  14. bunny for a child!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    NO!!!!1

  15. For a human girl?

    Really bad name..

She'll grow up and will never be taken seriously.

  16. terrible

  17. That will be a wonderful name for someone who will grow up in the adult entertainment business.  Your child will thank you some day.

    /sarcasm

  18. nickname only plz!

she would be teased mercilessly, people would think she was either an airhead or exotic dancer, and at the very least, people might think she was making it up.  just no.

  19. Bonnie or Bonita:  yes

    Bunny: no

Unless you're intending to have her always be 5years old. Imagine meeting a senior vice president, teacher, surgeon with that name.

  20. Only as a nickname. It's my nickname.

  21. It makes me think of a really ditzy girl.

  22. maybe for a nickname, but for a real name not so much.

  23. no never don't do it

  24. The same thing I think of names like Jett or Cash....  Unless there is a reason for it (family name, literary reference, etc.) then no way.  It's a noun, not a name.

  25. I think stripper.

  26. cruel, sorry

  27. here's what i think of when i am looking at all the stupid names of kids. I work in a school and it's cute to see little britney or lol Bunny running around the school yard with their pig tails flopping in the breeze. Now move onto Bunny the executive sitting in here office making six figures. I would kick the sh*t out of my parents if i had to introduce myself as Bunny. People would remember her sure, but it's embarassing.

I thought of this when i was naming my son. I wanted something that could grow with him. I chose Nicholas because as a baby and little boy we called him Nicky, when he gets older it will either stay nicky or can be upgraded to Nick. And on his fancy desk with his six figure salary it will say Nick or Nicholas. This way he will take care of me and not put me in a nursing home because I gave him a stupid name like bunny!

    Sorry you asked!

  28. You wouldn't seriously do that to your own child,  would you? You would be setting that poor little girl up for a life of misery.

  29. The only Bunny I know is Bunny Campione who was an expert on the Antiques Roadshow television programme. Perhaps Bunny is a nickname rather than a true Christian name, but she obviously didn't mind. She gave me the impression of being "well spoken" and very knowledgeable - so no handicap there.

  30. I don't like it... sorry.

Maybe as a nickname not a real name.

  31. Not a fan....I like traditional names... Look <<

My sons name is Oliver, and the bun in the oven will be Henry.
