It's nice and there are lots of women and girls who go by Chris if they're a Christine.

It is ambiguous with regard to gender which can help her get interviews or opportunities. I know I had business difficulties because some clients thought the could just walk all over a woman so once I signed my letters just with my initials and with a sloppy signature, fewer people questioned the content of my letters.

It could be a real good choice.

Christian is a great name for a girl! One of my best friends was named Christian (a girl). She was the nicest person I knew and always brought some life into a dull and boring class room, but didn't get in trouble!

I think it is quite sweet... but perhaps Christiane/Christianne is better as it is more feminine?

Why not also consider the names Christa, Christiana, Christina, Christine or Christy?

Well I've never seen a girl that goes by the name Christian. It will leave room for some sort of misconception.

My best friend/roommate is college and maid of honor at my wedding name is Christian...she often gets called Mr. but it's a pretty name for a boy or girl....some people called her Christy but I always call her Christian...I like it!

I always learned Christian was for a boy, but I was going to be named Christin. So with out the A. Your opinion though

I think it would suck for her because most people assume someone named Christian is a boy.   Kristin is way prettier and it doesn't have that extra "ch" noise. :)
