What do you think of the name Cyrus?

not sure about this name and its annoying me because I know a young boy named Cyrus and he is soo cutee!! So I don't know if I just like the name because of him

Does anyone else think that?? When they think of a name they think of a persn they know with that name.. So for example if u know someone by the name of sophie, if the person is horrible they dont like the name but if theyre nice they do..

its so anoying when chosing names.

I think I'd use Cyrus as a middle name though rather than a first name if I chose it

Yeh, whenever I think of the name Cyrus I think of Miley, I have never really heard of it as a first name before though. You could look on one of them baby names sights to find out meanings of names though.

Its nice but some people will think you mispelt Cyprus (as in country) or almost certaintly refer to miley cyrus (Hannah Montana)...

When I hear the name Cyrus, I think of my Friend Cyrus, he's a nice dude, a little bit of a trouble maker though.

I also think of Miley Cyrus, of course.

When you said Sophie, I thought of my little sister's best friend, and she's the cutest thing!

Cyrus was a king of ancient Persia.   I think it's generally a good name, except my husband has a cousin by that name who has a lot of issues and problems.  If you use it, I would recommend it as the middle name.

Yeah if u use it I would definatly use it as a middle name.  I think it's ok, but it's not my favorite, because it makes me think of Miley Cyrus, which is a girl's name.  But depending on the 1st name you chose, it could be nice.=)
