Another meaning for DRIBBLE is like the saliva that comes out of your mouth. I think that after a while, he will realize what his name also means and won't appreicaiate it as much...

How about Duncan or Dunkan... after Dunk?

How about you make Dribble his middle name, or Drib or something?

Or maybe name him after a favorite or very famous player... Like Jordan after Micheal Jordan!

It wouldn't be a bad name, but you have to think of all the possibly horrible things other people can say about it.  My last name is Dibble and people have always found nasty things to say, but ultimatley of course it is your decision
