  1. It makes me think if spit dribbling off a baby's mouth. sorry. that is just the first thing that came to mind. What about after a favorite player or something.

  2. Um, well it's cute, but consider this:

Another meaning for DRIBBLE is like the saliva that comes out of your mouth. I think that after a while, he will realize what his name also means and won't appreicaiate it as much...

How about Duncan or Dunkan... after Dunk?

How about you make Dribble his middle name, or Drib or something?

Or maybe name him after a favorite or very famous player... Like Jordan after Micheal Jordan!

    Hope i help!

  3. Sure, lovely.  2 pts for me.

  4. I was thinkin the same thing when I read ur question cuz

I love Basketball and so does my fiancee. That's funny, but

its cute too. But what do I know, I'm preggo and like real

    whoremonal.

If you want ur son to play pro ball how about Basket?

    Or Hoop.

If its a girl, you can name her Hoopla.

    Hope I helped ya.

    Allie

  5. the opposite of good

  6. It wouldn't be a bad name, but you have to think of all the possibly horrible things other people can say about it.  My last name is Dibble and people have always found nasty things to say, but ultimatley of course it is your decision

  7. I can't think of a single sarcastic remark, you really need to try harder, Slappy!

  8. i think it is very original. he could end up dribbling like drooling or peeing. but hey whatever works as long as he lives up to his name.

it makes me think of the famous person who named thier kid Audio Science.

please pick something your child has less of a chance being teased about. Dribble is too easy.

  9. Why not Spalding, hoop, court or dunk?

  10. It would suit him until he's about two and a half and no longer Dribbles :)

It would be ironic if you name he in honor of something you love and then your son can't play a l**k.

It's like when you call someone really short "Stretch"

Or when the BIGGEST guy in school is "Tiny"

  11. It is a wonderful name. I just hope he doesn't become a basket case. Have a ball with it.  I named my little bundle of sunshine 'Droolina'. It means 'beautiful stream' in my obscure language which can only be spoken properly with an accented lisp.

  12. Sounds stupid. How about Dunkin (Dunk In) as in dunking a basketball into a net

  13. Hmm... I think we have already had this conversation about the parents naming their kids weird, or should I say, different, names!

Butttttt....... I think it's cute. LOL

What about Enbe and say it like NB.. Like National Basketball Association - without the A!

    Good Luck!

  14. Um...maybe as a nickname..but not as a real name.

Unless your wife/girlfriend/whatever is giving birth to a basketball,

Dribble would not be a good name. Sorry to disappoint.

  15. I hope this is a joke. It sounds like he has spit coming out of his mouth.

  16. Its cool how about Rawlings, Alley...oop, or Michael Swish

  17. Reminds me of drool, and more importantly, what if he turns out to hate basketball.

  18. first change your name to BasketBall then it will fit.

  19. Will you please stop with the stupid names Slappy! Just name the kid Slappy Jr. and be done with it.

  20. Wonderful name!!! Dribble Hoop

  21. Very nice!  I love hockey and i was thinking of naming my daughter Zamboni or if it's a boy, Puck.

    Good Luck!

  22. Yeah! Or slobber. Cool choice.

  23. Lovely...

In my culture it means gentle trickle of water.

  24. Dribble Cup

  25. Seriously?

  26. Evil

  27. FATHER?????

  28. ...2pts.

    no.

  29. If you had twins, you could name them Dribble and Pitch. They could play basketball and baseball.

  30. I'm sorry but I got an immediate image of a baby with spit dribbling out of its mouth. I'm sorry but I think this name might set your child up for embarrassing taunting later on.
