What do you think of the name Eden for a boy.

My husband and I decided if we were to have a boy we liked that name but my friend said she thought it was a girl's name.

My daughter's middle name is Eden. But I really can't see it as a boys name. To be totally honest I think perhaps you should sit down and consider the consequences in your childs life once he starts school. He could be mocked and teased. Sorry I hope this helps

I guess it might be considered a universal name but I would lean more towards a bit girly!

But cute if you like it.  Don't worry about what other people are going to think of your kids names.  Make sure it fits your family and you and your husband/boyfriend/babies daddy.

My cousin's name is Eden, but she is a girl. I think it would be Ok, but probably not the best for a guy.

i won't even begin to tell you the horrible nicknames that kids will come up with for that one.  sorry, but kids can be cruel and that isn't exactly a "manly" name.

Eden such a nice name for a boy.But,if you really think that was a girl name,why don't you just find other names?Like Edwin,Edward,Eric or  Earon?If you wanna to changes that name though.

i don't know when you're baby is due or even if you're pregnant but hopefully you have more time to choose a name. i understand you want something unusual but give it time and the perfect name will come to you. eden sounds more like a girl's name to me. sorry. at least you have honest friends.

I like it.  But others wont, and people are rude.

Always be kind to the unborn child- when it's out of the womb, it wont be nearly as easy. ;)

Try it as a middle name, that way if he hates it, he can always toss it!

My brother's name is eden. well technically it's his middle name, kendall is his first, but he's gone with eden ever since i could remember. no one made fun of his name, and he was really popular. he's also in med school now and is quite buff and according to my friends, is "hot":p i think it'd be cool:)
