What do you think of the name Foxx for a baby boy?

My husband is really punk rock. Our little boy will definitely have a big music influence in his life, and hubby is excited about dressing him in little Slayer shirts and things haha.

What do you think of the name Fox or Foxx?

Which spelling? Last name will be Gardner. Any idea on a middle name?

I don't like it at all. Its an animals name, not a childs.

I think Emerald Eyes and Usagi Bunny both have great suggestions.

Fox would be better for a middle name.  Plus, the animal itself has a bad connotation attached to it.  A fox is sneaky and can be wicked, not a noble creature (although that is purely mythological).

I love the name Fox. I don't like it with added x, It's a cute and rare name so I don't think another x is necessary to make it look cool or different. The extra  x looks kind of trashy.

I love Fox, as a middle.

My combination is Elijah Greer Fox.

Fox is fine, no need for the unnecessary x.

Fox with one X.  With the two X's it looks trashy, and more hip hop than punk, you know?  More Harlem chic than Manchester or Boston badass.

If your husband is really punk, how about Iggy for a middle, after the almighty godfather of punk, Iggy Pop?  Fox Iggy Gardner.  Sounds pretty cool.  Or maybe Fox Iggins Gardner, just call him Iggy.

I was thinking of naming my firstborn Sid Vacant, but I don't think it'd go over too well with the Mrs.

Since you are set on naming him Fox, I would definitely go with only one x.  Maybe you could name him Fox Hunter.  That would be pretty cool.  Or Hunter Fox and just call him Fox.
