What do you think of the name Joy Noelle?

Question

My first name is Joy. And my middle name is Noelle but I go by Noelle in school. I looked up on this "how popular is your name" and mine isn't very popular. It kinda makes me feel like my name is really weird or something like, out of a foreign country but it's not i'm guessing. Ha and everytime some asks my name they say, "oh you must be a Christmas baby!" but i'm not...I kinda just wish I hadn't been named Joy Noelle. I'd rather be called Joy than Noelle lol. And then they ask where I got my name from and my mom named me out of a book. Something about a princess named Noelle. And she just liked Joy as a first name. My friends like it because it's got a uniqueness to it but i'm not sure. What do yall think?

I'm not too keen on Joy, but I love Noelle! I don't really like the combination though.

Im not a fan of Joy at all. But i love noelle. My old best friends name was Noelle. Ive met quite a few girls named Noelle so dont think thats its so weird and uncommon. I think its really pretty. If you think you have a strange name, my name is Jonna. Its pronounced John-Uh or like Donna but with a J instead of a D. People mess it up all the time. They either love it or thinks its stupid and ugly. But whatever, i like it because i like having a unique name. It would completely bother me if i knew there was a million other girls walking around with the same name as me. My name is a big reason why im so unique and my own person. So you should be proud of your name.

Noelle is the french word for Christmas, so it does sound like you were a Christmas baby, but I like the name Noelle, and other than that woman from the View, i like the name Joy. Its a pretty name, very unique, but i can understand how you feel about the Christmas comment. it would get old after a while.

but look on the bright side, unless the person is really stupid, they'll never say your name wrong.

i actually love your name and i understand what you mean about christmas baby thing i have the same problem in a way my name is lamenda and evryone assumes im spanish or its a spanish name or something and its not  and im not spanish. but still i love your name it is awesome.

I love the name Noelle. I get where your coming from with the whole "you must be a christman baby" thing; my name is Meg. Not Megan, just Meg, so I always get called Megan
