  1. i think its quite nice...there are lots of bold names around, i think its nicer than the boring old same names all the time, go with what you like, good luck x

  2. I would say something else, but you can give her a nickname Kiki.

    I think its cute :P

  3. .think about the middle name and the last do they all flow together when there grown up and looking for a job will people be turned off. some names work for kids but not adults at the end of the day its up to you

  4. You might want to consider what that name will be like for her at 30 or 60.  Names do affect how people perceive the other person.  Will she be taken seriously with that name?  Would you have doubts about a surgeon named Kiki?  It's not just what you like.  It's what she'll have to deal with.  Just saying.

  5. That was my nickname growing up because my sisters couldnt say Katie when they were little

I was told somewhere that Kiki means v****a over in Africa or somehthing.. I don't know how true it is...but that's what I have been told.

  6. Yuk. Icky. Yukky. Kaki. Khaki.

Yeah, I think Kiki is a great name. No problem that I can see.

  7. Also anyone who grew up with 'Hector's House' on TV would find it difficult not to refer to her without thinking of a frog.  'Cool and original' are rarely values that children thank their parents for when a name is concerned....

  8. It's the name of the parrot in the Enid Blyton Adventure books. Hardly original.

  9. I prefer the A instead of the I.

    ello kaka rofl

  10. I'm not sure about naming her Kiki, but maybe as a nickname. Although if you like it as her first name that is all that matters.

My name is Nicole and I only allow my mom and brothers to call me Nikki. When my boyfriend started saying it just to aggravate me I told him to come up with something else. *Kiki* is what he calls me.

  11. KIKI IS A LOVLY NAMEEEEE, my girlfriend used to call cats "kiki" when she was 5 years old, that why we named our kitten kiki

btw there is a rap artis in texas who goes byt he name of kiki, his parner in crime is archie lee

when i get a dog hius name will be archie

  12. I think its lovely but will she like it when she's older id give her a name that would then generate the nickname Kiki like Kika or Kirsten

  13. i think this name is great. itsunusual and reminds me of a lady a once knew. her name was kiki and shewas the greatest person i ever knew. i say go for it. its better than what some people call there children (poor sods) . my sons name is kye-zeus i love it cause when there are lots of kids around i shout his name and he answers cause the name is unusual. good luck x x x dont listen to what others say they only jelous cause there names are boring. an unusual name is a remembered name. call her what you want. ps there are kids out there called violence, benson and hedges, bus stop. seriously there are some weird people out there to call there kids these stupid names. KIKI IS LOVELY, try giving her a middle name like kiki-mai. or something along those lines

  14. well.its a strange name...well why not!!!??..yes..i like it!!

its better than Chanel...in Italy a wife of a famous footballer(Totti) decided to call their baby Chanel....like the perfume!

i think kiki is a good name.

  15. I like it, but maybe that could be a nickname. My friends name is Keira and we call her Kiki.

  16. Like you, I think it is cool and orginal. I think that it is very pretty and it is a name that you barely ever hear. I believe that it is a beautiful name!

    Good Luck with everything! :-)

  17. Considering that the name has been used so many times before I am surprised that you want to use it again. Give her a new one.

  18. Not keen on it atall

Maybe use it as a nick-name

    Say short for

    Keira

    Kimberley

    or

    Keeley

    xx

  19. I think it's a selfish and shortsighted and a bad idea for a real name.  As a nickname that would be fine but not their real name.

  20. I think it is sweet, I dont think she would be bullied at school. If you were concerned though, you could have it as a nickname maybe x

  21. It's okay for a baby or a small child, but when she grows up it'll sound ridiculous.

    More appropriate for a prostitute.

    Sorry!

  22. It reminds me of KiKi Dee (and Elton John) but apart from that, it's quite a nice name, though I would have thought it to be more of a nickname or a 'pet name' than a name to actually give as an official name. If you want to call her Kiki, then name her Kiara or Christine. She is very likely to call herself 'Kiki' then as one of her first (adorable) 'baby words'!

I don't think that you can (or should try to) predict whether or not someone will be bullied at school. People are *not* generally bullied or made fun of just because of their names, anyway. It is usually to do with the kind of person they are. If they have little self confidence and can't rise above the occasional unkind word about their name, then they will also have a hard time.

How your little girl will do at school is much more to do with how you bring her up to feel about herself and others.

  23. It reminds me of a pet, like a bird or something. I don't like it at all.

But it is your choice to make and if you really like it, then use it if you want.

Just a thought: When considering the name (or any name) think about not only how you feel about it, but how your child might feel about it. Think in context of school, day to day life (having to explain it all the time, spell it all the time, etc), and how will it sound when she is an adult? How will it sound when she has a career? What if she is a high powered business woman? What about as an elderly lady one day? What will an obituary for "Kiki" look like? Just remember that while you are the parent and you should choose something you like - you are not the one who has to actually live with it. Your daughter will be living with the name for the rest of her life, even well after you are gone.

  24. If you  want her to be called Kiki I would suggest giving her a sensible name beginning with "K" and then using Kiki as a nickname.  To many primary school children "Kiki" is the name of a stray dog in the stories of Nicholas and his Gang.

Children, even very young ones, love to take the mickey out of anything out of the ordinary. I have seen it so often.  Kiki might be suitable for a pretty little girl but she might grow up to be a sixteen stone mud-wrestler. Would she appreciate the name then?

  25. It sounds more like a nickname than an actual name. Maybe choose a name where you can use Kiki for short, your nickname for her - this way you get to call her Kiki but save her from being bullied at school...

  26. It's a darling nickname, but it's not enough name to put on a birth certificate.

Kiki could be short for nearly any name beginning with K.  Why not name her Katherine, but call her Kiki?  That way she has an original, interesting and lively nickname - but a formal moniker to fall back on for her Harvard diploma.  :)

  27. God no,this name will hinder her throughout the whole of her life. Also it's tells me her parents are very young!

  28. If your worried that she would get bullied how about making it a nickname.

I personally like Kiersten & Kinley.

    Good luck!

  29. It sounds Hawaiian

  30. kiki i dont no how to say dat but i think it is ok but  if itz a boy how abt kai or somthing along the line ???

  31. The name Kiki sounds more appropriate for a little Chihuahua to me, I'd say avoid it.
