It reminds me of the drink. It sounds pretty but I wouldn't name a child that. What about Margaret or Margaux(Margo) if you want something along those lines.

No.   Margarita is booze.    A baby is not booze.   She would be teased all her life.   Try something similar that isn't booze.

I knew a girl named Margarita in school and she was very sweet and soft spoken. I like the name, I think its pretty. And for the record..no one ever teased her or associated her name with the drink.

if you name a child margarita then they may have some trouble during the age it goes to school, you might be asked to come in for some parent teacher conferences. also, she might grow up and do some very stupid things and get herself in some tough situations.
