What do you think of the name Mauna Loa for a girl?

I really like that idea. Were you think of making it a two-word name (like Mary Kate) or Mauna as the first name, then Loa as her middle name.

I prefer the second option.

it's much more original than popular girl names such as ava, hayden, caylin, etc...

I personally wouldn't go for original names by all means but not ones that are gunna make the child dislike there name in older life, who would be that please with being named after a volcano or a brand of food.

I like this name alot, it reminds me of being in Hawaii, and most names from Hawaii means special things, like from the islands! Wonder what your name would mean?
