What do you think of the name Molly?

Question

I was simply inspired by this name from the movie "Corrina, Corrina." Too common, right? Do you like the name Molly Vada? Molly Indigo?

I became a very proud aunt to a beautiful niece last friday, 'MOLLY ROSE'  she is fantastic and when I first heard her name I loved it.  It wasn't one of those names that you get used to I just loved it.  I probably prefer MOLLY VADA to MOLLY INDIGO but not for any reason.  I am not sure where in are from but in Australia I don't think Molly is too common.  It has certainly picked up in recent years and is not uncommon but I wouldn't avoid it I think it is a lovely name.

Molly is my name! I love my name, it's unique (there's only three Molly's in my entire school of 1100!) and sweet. Vada and Indigo however aren't my thing. I don't have a middle name but what about Molly Anne or Molly Mae or Molly Ellen?

I think its cute. It does seem like it would be harder to grow into as an adult though, and for some reason there seems to be a ton of people naming their puppies Molly, But my husband loves that name.

I think Molly is a pretty name.  To make it more unique, I think the best thing to do is add a family name as a middle name.  Maybe your mom or grandma's name.  Maybe a name from the father's family.  I think it's a nice way to include some tradition.  Molly Monique might be pretty.
