What do you think of the name Mya?

Do you like the name Mya/Maya? Pronounced as My-uh not May-ah.

So, it is pronounced "My"-uh, as in the "mi" in "mine"?

I like Maya better, if this is the case.  So many people will pronounce it "Mia" (like in Mamma Mia)

Maja is a fun alternative if for some reason you don't like Maya.

I really like it especially because it not common.

Mya is how i would spell it and a cute middle name would like Mya May; Mya Ann Marie.

Yes.  And the best spelling I've seen so that it is always pronounced My - uh and not Mee - uh is: Myah.

Mya looks mispelled but if you like it thats what matters. I personally like the spelling Maya better. Oh and Maya is probobly one of my fav names its awesome!!!

I really like Maya, but Mya looks off to me.  Lots of people will mispronounce it as mee-a; if you wan't to avoid all that hassle, irritation, and constant correction of people, you should spell it as Maya.
