What do you think of the name Scarlet?

My 14 year old daughter is called Scarlett,i think it is a beautiful name and she loves it. We have only just recently met another Scarlett,a little girl when we were out shopping,she was about 2. I think that it is becoming quite a common name in the UK.

I think of Scarlett O'Hara in Gone With the Wind.  She wasn't a very nice person... I guess I associate the name w/ her, but I also don't like the first syllable, the word "scar," ...and it rhymes with Harlot.  Just something to consider.

Its a pretty name ,different in a good way, not a common used name, and that's how it should be for the child that is going to be wearing it, special + unique!

for me it's just ok.  I prefer the proper spelling of Scarlett.  Maybe a bit of a harsh sounding name.

Scarlette is better of spelling. It makes it look more feminine. Its a wonderful name though, FOR A GIRL! haha
