Its too boyish. If you are set on Scout pair it with a feminine middle name. They may choose to go by the middle name when they are older.I can't really see an old woman going by Scout.

I thought this was a boys name at first....but either way it's not a very good name.  Scout is just awful and Tyler is too masculine.
