What do you think of the name avilina?

I want to know what do you think about the name because I trying to come up with a female name for my story.The name is pronounced [a-vee-lee-na]

Avalina sounds like javalina.  Your business if you want to name your char after a pig.

a-vee-lee-na sounds like a really really made up name.

its cute, but if you say it a lot, it sounds annoying.

Just my opinion but I wouldn't use a name that you have to show people how to pronounce.

You want your readers to know and identify with your characters, not have to struggle through with pronunciation each time they come across it.

I'm really not for unusual names in a novel unless it is set in a totally different world (like Star Wars).

You don't have to pick a name like Jane or Sally.  There are tons of pretty girls names that are not common place but still recognizable.

Very unique...just keep in mind this child will probably have to repeat her name a trillion times in her life. Good Luck!
