I'm ignoring the rednecks. You asked a reasonable question. I think Elizabeth Taylor Green is a very elegant, beautiful name. I'm not a Miranda fan, but that's just because there are too many ditzy ones in Hollywood. They don't make very good role models. But Elizabeth is a fabulous name and you could call her Elise, Elle, Eliza, Beth...it lends itself to a bunch of great nicknames without getting ditzy. I think she'd like it. There is more and more of the name of elizabeth and Jennifer's. How about Taylor marie or Marie, Ashlee (different ways to spell Ashley), Aeriel Anna, Amber Marie, Angel, Tina, Sarah. Just to name a few names that I love. If I have a girl It would either be Taylor Or Marie.

I think Miranda Mae is a cute name, and I like Jennifer Elizabeth as well. I would think hard about Elizabeth Taylor... there is an actress named Elizabeth Taylor who is known for many marriages and being a bit kooky. Of course, your new daughters friends probably won't know that.

Naming your baby is one of the first decisions you get to make as a parent, so make your choice and be proud of it. It seems like you are thinking of nice, normal names (I've met a lot of teen moms who give their kids some crazy names - they aren't doing them any favors). I know it can seem hard when you're by yourself, but hopefully you have your mom and maybe some sisters or aunts or your grandma - lean on them, because you'll need their support.

Miranda Mae is ok, just please give your baby a name that will not

hinder her in the future. Odd spellings and weird names are part of the first impression we all make on people. Good luck to you. I had my first daughter at 15 also. She is now a beautiful successful lady of 28 and I could not be more proud of her. I had tons of help from my mom, I hope yours is there for you.
