like ellie mae clampett? i like both names--ellie and mae...i would probably think of a full name that ellie would be a good nickname for though. and i wouldn't use both names together because i grew up loving the beverly hillbillies and would never get that association out of my head.

it is kinda cute, and kids now probably will have no idea who ellie mae clampett is...so if you love it, then do it.
