Lucian isn't my style at all. Too close to Lucifer, and I'm not into naming a kid after the devil. But Corbin is kinda cute!

they are both really cute but i like lucian but it remindes me to much of the devil so ill have to choose corbin

definitely not together.

however:

i love the name lucian.

it's not completely evil like lucifer (also lucipher).

and it doesn't make me think of harry potter (see lucius).

and i wouldn't pay any mind to the ppl who complain about it being too close to the name of the disney channel star,

b/c by the time the child is old enough to think about the coolness/gayness of their name,

the disney channel kid will be long gone.

Lucian reminds me of a childs cartoon and sounds a bit girly to me and Corbin reminds of the guy that used to be on Pop Idol.  Sorry but neither sound good to me.

Lucias is better than Lucian-- Corbin makes me think of Cobin Blue as in the stupid Disney channel star

Great names - have a friend who's husband is named Lucian, but he's the only person I've met in my 37 years with that name.  Only place I've heard the name Corbin is on an actor - Corbin Bernsen.

No, Lucian sounds too much like lucifer (the devil) , and Corbin reminds me of the name of a french cheese, as someone else already said, they'd probably get beat up alot.

I really love Lucian (pronunciation: Lu-Shin). It is very manly and strong for a boy, but Corbin I'm not really crazy about.

Lucian is beautiful.  Lucian, just like Lucy (and all it's variations), and Lucciano, and Lucinda and Lucius, they all mean lit, or light, or sparkling with light.  They all come from the latin and italian word luce.  Lucifer means he who bares the light.  Do you hear anyone saying that Lucille or Lucy or Lucia reminds them of the Devil?  Give me a frikkin' break.

I hope you don't *not* name your son Lucian because some reckon it reminds them of the Devil.

Corbin is lovely as well, but Lucian is absolutely beautiful.
