I think it is absurd. You should be able to cheer or jeer at will.

  1. Just another example of how wimpy and liberal this country is becoming..

  2. I don't think they are trying to stop you going to a game and cheering or jeering - it's more to do with being OTT. Like say you drink too much and start a fight (which happens more often than not at rivalry games) then you could be disturbing the peace, which is not good.

I also agree with the rule of not throwing things on the field as it causes disruption.

Though I think incidents are isolated (unless like I said it's a rivalry game) it could make the atmosphere that little bit better. At the end of the day, it's still a family event and having a bunch of pissed up idiots in the crowd just puts people off.

PS. I'm from the UK and I see this every weekend at the soccer matches and it ain't pretty lol!

  3. But you're one of thousands that wanna cheer and root for your Team. There's a limit of enjoyment. Then you start making it bad for others. There's limitations in most any part of Life. Sports is the same way.

  4. I find it very absurd.

You mean to tell me you are going to tell thousands of fans what to do.

There is not one true football fan that will just sit there and cheer.

People wanna stand and jump around and have fun but the NFL is starting to turn more into a business than anything else
