so they have to open their door to order, pay and get their food/coffee or what ever.

I think it defeats the whole purpose

  1. I don't think that is so bad.  I love the person with the very loud car who had to shut off their engine to place an order.  That happened to me once with an old Subaru I had.  Embarrassing.  Now it is funny when I see it happen to other people

  2. my windows are broken, but i can open the driver's side by pushing it down... have you ever tried to have a car window mechanism fixed? every one i asked said at least $300 per side, maybe more IF they could find the parts. but even if i had to open my door, does that really mess you up? you still get your 10,000 calorie super size (with a diet coke of course) without having to WALK at all.

  3. The purpose of using the drive through is so you don’t have to get out of your car and enter the restaurant. Even if you have to open the door you have still achieved said purpose.

  4. I agree...BUt then just beacuse they can't get their window fixed doesn't mean they can't go thru the drive thru also. But they do look kinda silly.

  5. Why would that defeat the whole purpose? They still don't get out of their car, and they still don't order inside. Did you even bother thinking before asking this question?

  6. It makes the drive through job harder cause they take more time ordering and giving out the food trust me i know i work at an arbys

  7. It kinda makes me chuckle, but hey, people with broken windows/doors need food, too!

  8. I think that they don't want to go inside, maybe because they sprained their foot or broke their leg or are in a wheelchair. And sometimes it is because they forgot it was broken before they got in line.

  9. Whatever way they get the food through the drive through, they are still getting it. Just because someones window doesn't work doesn't mean they aren't allowed to use the drive through.

  10. nothing...

  11. Who cares? It is faster than going up to the counter. It doesn't defeat the purpose at all. They still have to go to a drive-up window, right? They are, for the most part, in and out faster than going inside.
