Many have been put in jail and an arrest of a popular politician has been planned. What do you think of all this hub-ub?

  1. Peaceful one was fine.

The one with the violent people got what they deserved.

... Yes, lets throw **** at the police, wreck houses and burn c**p and see what they do.

Way to violent, if you don't like something go into politics and try to change it yourself, don't destroy some random b******s car.

  2. The videos I saw looked fairly normal for that kind of thing.  Some of the protesters go where they are not allowed, in order to make a statement, but the police push them back fairly calmly using a mildly irritating chemical, and a certain number were arrested, probably they planned to be.

Then there was a small group of vandals and huns throwing and breaking stuff, hopefully they go arrested whether they planned to be or not.

But no doubt more details will emerge.

Nothing like the 1968 Democratic Convention in Chicago where the police were beating on the demonstrators....  Thank goodness.

  3. Haha I laughed when they broke out the tear gas in the video they just showed

  4. Reminds of the old days in Chicago under Mayor Richard Daley.

  5. Just the same old wackos at a different location, now news here.

  6. I like the name of one of the alternate events.  The Provention.

  7. They wouldn't be getting arrested if they would do it the legal way... But that wouldn't make the news....

  8. I was there and there is a difference between peaceful protest and those anarchists that fed everything up. Don't get it confused and the media is a joke. For the people who are too ignorant to see what really happened or weren't there. Close your mouth. You look like an ***.

  9. i think its funny as h**l.  it reminds me of the 60's when patchouli stinking hippies were getting clubbed.

  10. sounds like fascism

  11. I love the fact that my radical brothers are showing these republicans that we are mad and we will use violence to get our country back. All the coward conservatives will never riot, they have no guts unless they are backed by the goverment.

  12. Some of those demonstrators were breaking windows  etc.  But the vast majority were peacefully giving their voice to what they believe.  Unfortunately the police saw fit to use very aggressive tactics without discriminating between the former and the latter.  At one point they came from 4 sides and started gassing and  arresting anyone in the area - even journalists and others not taking part but just observing.  They got pretty nasty about it too.

The media is not reporting this because they're afraid of being called "biased" plus most of thje national media is owned by larger corporations which are more interested in Presidential and Congressional s*x scandals than police state tactics.

  14. They are anti war hypocrites that claimed they were coming to town for a " peaceful march"

I hope they throw the book at these scumbags

    Hey James( below)

I am a republican, come try to slash my tires or light my property on fire

Just make sure you tell your mother goodbye first

  15. The United States becomes more like China in its repressive policies every year.
