  1. If you want a good rifle stick with a bolt action...the 7600 is not accurate and have feeding problems...you cant beat the accuracy and dependablity of a bolt

  2. I'd much rather have a Bolt-Action rifle. And yeah they go out to about 300 yards. I had the chance to test one out. They are very accurate. Good luck.

  3. i recomend them over auto loaders anyday! theyre more reliable than a auto faster than a bolt or lever action and more accurate than a lever action (somewat ive seen 2 inch groups at 150 yards) in my openion a 30.06 760 or 7600 loaded with 220 grain bullets is the perfect grizzly bear gun (my opinion) well i wish you luck

  4. I have used the 7600 and like it.  However, you would do better with a bolt action in 30.06.  It would be more accurate and that caliber has a wider range of bullet selection.  You can get varmint rounds and large game rounds.  good luck.

  5. I have always liked the Remington 7600 pump-action center fire rifle.  One in .308 would be very versatile indeed.  I might prefer the same in .30-06 but either one would be great.  Wish I had one!

  6. G'day mate i own a .308 7600 patrol and one thing i can say about it.IT IS S.H.I.T HOT.My grouping would fit on a twenty cent piece at 150 meters. One thing i can say about the 7600 patrol is that there are some bolt action that cant match its accuracy. At the start i had a tasco scope on it and it was shooting really c.r.a.p. and i was blaming the gun.I took off the scope and brought a Burris 4x10x40 with a posi lock it kicks a.s.s now.think it's very in portent what scope you put on it,even a red dot scope will do well.i use my 308 7600 patrol on pig.if i didn't buy the patrol then i would of gone 4 the Remington model 700 bolt action in a 308 or 30 06 they a great gun also but put a good scope on it.One thing i can say about Burris is they have a 14 pound spring in them where a lot of others only have a 7 pound spring, the posi lock locks has both 14 pound spring or you can tighten it up to lock it so it don't move,so if you drop yr gun it wont lose it zero. But in Australia they r expensive here look on eBay international sellers,i got mine from 911performance or performance911,my scope would cost $1100 but off him  i got it 4 $646 it depends how a dollar is going. So i would go the 7600 patrol i don't know about the other 7600 model's,i just know about what i own they do say they r one of the best pump action ever made cheers mate

  7. Might be fun as a novelty.

The 7615 seems like a good way to do and end run around Cali's communist laws.

Certainly not my first or even tenth choice for a rifle, though.

The .30'06 anniversary one from a couple years ago looked kinda sweet...
