  1. do whatever u want its your body.

  2. First, i wanna say, that i'm sorry about your puppy and i know JUST how you feel.  I had had my cat, Lucky since i was 7 years old... he lived for 18 years before i lost him last september.  Before he passed though, i already had a tattoo of him on my arm

Then it just became a memorial tattoo.  It's sort of a cartoonish version of him.  It's probably my favorite tattoo.

Anyway, your idea is nice too.  But I definately do not suggest getting a poem in another language unless you have a strong connection to that other culture.  If you dont want people to be able to read it as easily.. just have it in cursive... or in a circle around the paw print... or just keep your foot away from people ;)

  3. yea its good

when im oldenough im getting 2 paw prints tatooed somewhere

  4. The paw print is great.  It will make a statement.

Old English is a bad font because it is overused.

In fact, scrap that poem entirely.  It's not well written, it's provided for dogs who are put to sleep (sad), it's used for all other dogs who existed, and it's going to ruin the paw print.

If you want text, write it yourself.  Write out a description of how your dog looked or acted or a favorite memory.  Start with what you told us, "she was my whole whole world and i still think of her every day."  You can refine that, add dates you were together, etc.

  5. I like the idea, but I think the wording of the poem could be changed to sound a little better. It seems a little..i dunno. choppy to me. I had to read it a few times to understand it properly (and i do know the story about rainbow meadows, so that wasn't the reason I wasn't getting it right away.) I don't recommend getting a tattoo anywhere that is very visible if you don't want people looking at it and asking about it. I have several and I don't mind at all if people stop me and ask me what it is and tell the story behind it. I do know some people who flip out when they are asked about theirs, which I think is ridiculous. It's like wearing a shirt that has words on it but then ask people to ignore it.

  6. that sounds beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I love the poem!

I have my dogs' foot prints on the side of my foot. They are Boston terriers, so their prints are quite a bit smaller, but I love it.

  7. awee thats a great tatoo!!

  8. Paw print tat /////// very mature u r.

Forget the words . Every picture tells a story.  Paw print with angels will look

    so so so much hotter!!!!!!

    Good luck R K G

  9. I can understand the pain of losing a great pet, I lost one a few years ago as well--I had her for a very long time.

Even though I wouldn't personally get a tattoo in memory of her, no matter how wonderful she was, I really like that you are wanting to get one for your dog.

I think it would be really neat if you got the paw-print, with the poem surrounding the tattoo. This is difficult to explain, but imagine that the words of the poem are outlining the paw-print? I think that would be really cool.

I think english would be good, simply because what's the point of getting it in another language if you won't be able to read it?

    Good luck! :]

  10. I have a couple of tats and it took me months to figure out what it needed to look like. I believe the ink you get should represent who you r and what you are. your dog was a part of you and your family. Getting the paw print as totally cool. it shows character. good for you and enjoy your monument to some one you loved
