What do you think of the television news?

I think the news is nothing but bad news. Have you noticed that the main networks always put the feel good story at the end of the program? With all negative news all the time no wonder people are affraid to invest are spend money to get the economy moving. I would love to see someone start a news network called " The good news network" and have every story be a positive one and put the bad news story at the end of the program. I know there is good news out there everyday but they don't report it.

By nature, news is what's different ... and usually different is bad. Plane lands safely... not news. No fires in downtown area ... not news. You get the idea.

There are plenty of upbeat stories out there, if you check the media outlets. Just count sometime. They might get overshadowed a bit, especially when there's a run of bad news (gas prices up, mortgage foreclosures up, etc.). But look around.

And let's face it -- you need to know about the bad things. It helps you to make things better.
