my family is part Canadian but we live in philly and arizona it would be nice to get some bluejays games

America was founded on the principle that all people are equal and should be able to make the own choices, so in making your own personal choice for which team to root for is one of the most American things you can do. Plus, your family is Canadian, so it's natural to root for them. Toronto is more similar to an American city in the respect that they love baseball, football, and basketball.
