What do you think of the upcoming Xbox 360 interface? Will I get my money back for...?

If you dont know about the "dashboard" coming this fall, or you simply want to know more, here is the video, watch it and come back.

So here is what I think....

Microsoft (xbox) looks like they are trying to go in 2 ways, the WII and the PS3.

How your asking?

The dashboard looks is like the same as the ps3 but opposite, you have your little slide thing. In this case it goes up and down for the xbox, where as the ps3 goes from side to side, and the select option one is from side to side where on ps3 it is up and down...

Im not going to go crazy about the Avatars, like the MII's for the WII, because I do like the idea and really like the idea of the 1v100 games.

Now, for my most important question...

What will happen to all the stuff I bought, yes, paid for with real money in the marketplace? The themes are not going to work, the gamerpics are going to be gone due to the avatars...

So Im not totally sure, I personally think the new dashboard looks lame.

First of all it's Microsoft. You're never getting that money back, ever.

But from what I've heard, the new dashboard will be optional so you can use all your old stuff if you want.

I never thought of that. That's a really good question. I would assume (and hope) that we will be refunded for all the things we bought but cannot use anymore.

Well the thing is that even though you will be asked to download the update, you wont have to use the new interface! I bought all the south park gamerpics and now they will be lost if i choose to use the new interface!

My boyfriend and I get EGM magazine. They had a whole article on it. From what we read, you won't lose money in it. Apparently you will just need to do an update on your themes etc. And it will put it into the new interface. So basically all the themes you downloaded will still be compatible with the new interface.

You can still use your themes and gamer pictures calling microsoft is not going to do anything they are just going to tell you lies. After the update you can still use the old dashboard so you not losing anything.

The themes you got from the xbox 360 marketplace will still work with the new xbox 360 dashboard!
