  1. I like the idea of the digital broadcast, but since my TV is over 15-years-old, I am wondering if I will need to buy an analog converter for it or not. To me, this transition is stressful.

  2. Newer TVs (and most electronics devices) are designed to be light and to consume less power so i am for it. We are having a world energy crisis so we should be more open to any advances in technology.

  3. We are way over-due for this change.

We can get 6 digital channels in the same frequencies used by 1 analog channel.

Ever wonder why ESPN, Discovery, Food Network, etc could never be picked up with an antenna?  It's because we have been out of room for new channels.  There is only room for these channels on a cable because Analog takes up so much of the frequencies.

    So it's long over-due.

The same analog signals have been around since 1940's - are you still listening to "45 records" or using a rotary-dial, corded telephone like we had back then?  The analog TV signals are one of the few relics left from those times.

  4. I am for it we have been using out-dated technology for too long. I don't want to see other countries get ahead of us technologically. We often invent the very technology, it takes us so long to use.
