Man Utd 4-0 Arsenal - FA Cup

Spurs 6-2 Arsenal - Carling Cup(On Aggregate)

Liverpool 5-3 Arsenal - Champions League(On Aggregate)

A Total of 15 goals conceded in 5 games! [Carling cup 2 home & away matches + Champions League 2 home & away legs] Pretty strange don't you think ?

OQ : Which midfielder will score the most goals this season ?

Thank You.

  1. i think the team just lacked enough experience in these matches; they played 3 very good teams and liverpool are probably the most experienced in the champions league; with tottenham also fielding their strongest 11 against arsenals reserves and youth.

Furthermore, Man Utd played a full strength experienced side and arsenal was a bit fatigued and too youthful; but it was an experience for the youngsters; i think they will do really well this year.

QQ. Joe Cole (the formation played plays to his strengths)

  2. FA Cup exit: deserved, thats what you get for not bulking up your squad

Carling Cup exit: deserved, thats what you get for "not caring" about a a trophy, i think as a manager, you should take all trophies seriously

Champions League: Didn't care, but had to feel sorry for them for the denied penalty, but my money was on Liverpool to win anyway, so...

  3. The Carling Cup and FA cup exits just pi$$ed everyone off

  4. Brilliant, here comes the "we played reserves" and "well done you beat our under 18's". HAHAHA these always make me laugh. Look at the teams they put out. They wernt under 18's or reserves, just didn't perform. Yes in some games they put out a SLIGHTLY weakened side but never less than half were first teamers. IMO the juniors played better than the old heads (Gallas etc.) Maybe if they could build a squad strong enough to NOT have to play youngsters and stopped selling players they may, just maybe would win something. Not this season though.

  5. They got a huge jolt when Eduardo got injured and that was the turning point of their season. They surrendered their 5 point lead to ManUtd and fell behind Chelsea and also got knocked out of other competitions.

Samir Nasri or Cesc Fabregas will score more than 10 goals each.

  6. haha carolyns right! no reminder needed!

i shud tell u that u can expect a big turn around for arsenal this season! every season is different..so dunt let that affect u cuz change is always around the corner!

  7. never notice that when sagna got injured...we lost goals like  derby.

we had injuries then, man utd water locgged there pitch, hoyte and treore at full back...come on now.

we'v been quite solid, sevilla put us under really severe pressure in pre season, and we hung on. this season Arsenal will be diffrent, trust me.

  8. The carling cup and fa cup were reserves on the away games, so i dont know how expected anything else, we were unlucky at Anfield, oh and cheated by a penalty that never should have been.

  9. OQ: Lampard

  10. Oh your a right barrel of laughs today arnt you!  thanks for reminding me and also all the anti-Arsenal users of our losses last season!

dont look back always look to the present and future!

OQ: C Ronaldo (when hes back!)
